Our Doctors
At Breeden & Minsky Eye Care, our group of optometric physicians represent a remarkable blend of talent and experience. With specialties ranging from vision correction and contact lenses, pediatrics, to the treatment of eye disease and Laser Vision co-management, we provide you with a comprehensive range of eye care services. All of our doctors are certified to treat eye disease and injuries and can prescribe both topical and oral medications in their treatment strategies.
Robert Breeden, O.D. NJ Lic.#3407
Dr. Breeden provides comprehensive eye care for adults and children including the treatment of ocular disease and injuries. He is the managing administrative partner for Breeden & Minsky Eye Care. He has a special interest in contact lenses especially "difficult to fit eyes". His contact lens work involves people with all types of vision problems including astigmatism, keratoconus and corneal transplants. He has 36 years of experience in custom contact lenses, including bifocal design, special purpose soft lenses, and rigid gas permeable lenses.
After completing his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York, he received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. His post-doctoral education includes a Residency in Contact Lenses from the State University of New York, College of Optometry, University Optometric Center under the direction of renowned contact lens pioneer, Dr. Maurice Poster.
Since 1995, Dr. Breeden has been a speaker for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, investigating and lecturing on their Acuvue brand contact lenses, as well as new contact lens products and emerging contact lens technologies.
His other practice interests include ocular surface disease and dry eye, glaucoma treatment and laser vision correction. Dr. Breeden is well suited in laser vision refractive surgery management, having had Lasik himself in 1999.
His professional affiliations include membership in the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
When not in the office, Dr. Breeden enjoys golfing and has served on the Board of Trustees of Beacon Hill Country Club, Atlantic Highlands. A birder and conservationist, he is a member of New Jersey Audubon, Cape May Bird Observatory, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Clean Ocean Action, and the Nature Conservancy.
Ronald Minsky, O.D. NJ Lic.#3445
Dr. Minsky provides primary eye care for all ages including the treatment of ocular disease and injuries. He is the managing business partner for Breeden & Minsky Eye Care. He has a special interest in medical eye care including ocular disease management, diabetic eye assessments, glaucoma, dry eye disease, treatment of eye injuries, pre/post-surgical care of cataract and refractive surgery patients.
He is certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) for refractive error regulation. In addition, he works with athletes of all levels to enhance their visual performance through the use of specialty lenses.
After completing his undergraduate degree at the C. W. Post Campus of Long Island University, he studied abroad at the University of Barcelona. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
His professional affiliations include membership in the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and a founding member of the American Optometric Society.
An avid sports enthusiast and athlete, when not practicing optometry, Dr.Minsky enjoys running, biking, exercising and traveling.
Mark Sverdlin, O.D. NJ Lic.#3420
Dr. Sverdlin provides comprehensive eye care for adults and children including the treatment of ocular disease. He has a special interest in medical eye care and diabetic eye disease. He maintained a private practice in Brooklyn and Manhattan for 25 years. He has been with Breeden & Minsky Eye Care since 2002.
Dr. Sverdlin received his undergraduate degree at the University of Miami and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
His professional affiliations include membership in the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
When not practicing Optometry, Dr. Sverdlin enjoys spending time in Manhattan, gourmet dining and travelling.
Paul Rosen, O.D. NJ Lic.# 2998
Dr. Rosen provides eye care for the whole family-from eye exams to management of ocular disease and pre- and post-operative care. He has a special interest in glaucoma treatment and specialty contact lenses for presbyopia and astigmatism. He has been in practice since 1972.
A graduate of Hunter College, City University of New York, he completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry.
Outside the office, he enjoys current events and New York sports. He maintains that his main job is as doting grandfather to his two grandchildren, Sela Eve and Mimi Beth.
Rebecca Denlow, O.D. NJ Lic.#5459
Dr. Denlow grew up in the profession of optometry. Her father, retired optometric physician, Dr. Paul Weissman, practiced for over 40 years. She provides comprehensive eye care for all ages, with special emphasis on contact lenses and ocular surface and anterior segment eye disease. She especially enjoys working with children.
She completed her undergraduate degree at the State University of New York, Binghamton and was awarded her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York, College of Optometry. Dr. Denlow is a member of the American Optometric Society.
A mother of three, she balances her career and family with the help of her husband Alan and her parents. Outside the office she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and nurturing her children, Ari, Shayna and Adina.
